My client are a leading AdTech company building a large-scale cutting-edge personalization engine for retail promotions that will understand over 100 million customers worldwide. They are hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to help build ML systems to solve problems across Recommendations , Seasonal Forecasting  , CPC and Lifetime Value. 

Responsibilities:

• Build machine learning systems for highly personalized shopping recommendations
• Build scalable ML pipelines and prediction systems based on transactional shopping data
• Work in a cross functional team of software developers, data engineers and product managers
• Design and discovery, prototype, evaluate and deploy ML models to production
• Communicate results to business stakeholders

Requirements:

• Min Bsc ( Msc / PhD preferred ) in Computer Science , Statistics , Applied Math or similar
• Min. 3+ years of professional experience in building custom machine learning algorithms and pipelines from scratch
• Good fundamental knowledge of statistics, probability theory, information theory, and/or linear algebra
• Experienced in using Python and SQL coding for building ML systems
• Excellent communication skills in English (German language skill is a plus)
• Experience working with containers (kubernetes, docker), cloud platforms and MLOps is a plus
