Location: Remote / Germany / Spain

My client is building a fully remote team across Germany and Spain (HQ in Berlin ) and are on a journey to build one of the most cutting edge personalization platforms ( powered by ML Products ) in Retail today. A start Up within an Enterprise organization , they have both the speed and creativity of a start up and the resources of an international business. 

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be working on core systems of their platform, like their campaign management and ad-serving systems, by designing and implementing robust and scalable microservices and workflows. 

Responsibilities

• Joining a cross-functional team ( Data Engineers, ML Engineers, DevOps, product, Software Engineers ) you will build core systems and workflows for critical data products
• Design and develop new product features on our microservices architecture as a backend developer
• Create event-based microservices written in Go deployed on Kubernetes
• Design technical solutions for new product features with a focus on availability and scalability
• Implement features like load/performance testing and monitoring to ensure the software meets the service level objectives

Requirements

• Min. Bsc in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Min. of 3+ years coding in Go  , where you can develop code that is reusable ,clean and scalable for microservices
• Experience in designing services with high scalability and high availability constraints
• Previous use of git and comfortable working with command-line tools in Linux environment
• Experience with designing event-based, cloud-native applications with Kubernetes and exposure to clouds like AWS or Google Cloud
• Comfortable working with high throughput, 24/7 availability systems

Package:
Salary range is up to €95k based on experience.
Fully Remote working in Germany or Spain (if eligible to work without constraints)
