Today’s guest is Michal Sofka, Deep Learning Team Lead at Hyperfine in New York. Michal’s passion is to innovate and transform ideas into product solutions. He is a Technical leader on research and development projects; product development in medical image analysis, computer vision and machine learning. He has worked in top R&D labs, building cutting edge technology in leading startups in New York City.

Hyperfine began from personal experiences with expensive, inaccessible and complex MRI systems with 4.7 billion people around the world today having no access to medical imaging.  Hyperfine is on a mission to make MRI accessible to every patient regardless of income or resources, anywhere, anytime. As a result, Hyperfine built a portable MRI that can be move directly to the bedside with no need for a shielded room – MRI at the Point of Care.
