Lead Data Analytics and Transformation




Looking for a Lead Data Analytics and Transformation to advance the firm’s data-driven approaches, including identifying new opportunities to leverage data to deepen client relationships and increase scale as well as designing, supporting and measuring transformation initiatives that leverage internal and external data. These efforts encompass business processes, technological innovation, growth initiatives and change management efforts focused on customer need and opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, scope and structure analyses to generate insights that support business decision-making
  • Aggregate, prepare and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate internal/external sources to drive strategic decision-making
  • Manage and synthesize large amounts of information effectively and creatively while having an in-depth understanding of the various sources and the relationships between the data sets
  • Design and implement Business Transformation market test measurement from end-to-end, developing baselines, defining measurement methodology and conducting impact measurement/analysis
  • Establish/test/refine proof of concepts, e.g., predictive models, to be tested and deployed to support transformation efforts
  • Generate and deliver strategic insights and recommendations to key stakeholders related to Business Transformation efforts (e.g. impact analysis), leveraging data visualization
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deploy advanced analytics and relevant technology against business challenges
  • Play a key role in data governance to drive progress and accountability within cross-functional initiatives
  • Guide the development and evolution of Client Group’s data infrastructure and capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Information Technology, Business Analytics or related field
  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience, including analyzing unstructured and structured datasets
  • Exceptional skills in data gathering and analysis (collating, cleaning, processing, exploring, modeling, and communicating)
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced analytics and insights development experience – telling stories with data
  • Expert use of SQL programming with demonstrated ability to derive insights through efficient SQL queries
  • Professional Programming experience (e.g. Python, R)
  • Fluency with visualization tools (e.g. MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
  • Self-directed and highly capable of working independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and navigate cross-functional teams in order to complete projects under time demands
  • Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products


  • The ideal candidate has experience in financial services (e.g. investment management or wealth management) or experience related to B2B distribution
  • Strong working knowledge of the following is preferred: CRM & Marketing automation systems (e.g. Salesforce, Pardot, Exact Target, Eloqua, Marketo); Digital tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
