The Role

 

They are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to help grow the Northeast US territory.

 

The Regional Sales Manager role is responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within the Northeast US region. This role is responsible for working within the ServiceNow ecosystem to provide solution selling, prospecting to new customers, and closing sales within the assigned territory.

  • Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrate products and services to existing and potential customers; assist and guide in selecting solutions best suited to their needs.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in assigned territory or market segment to generate new business for their products and services.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals for customers. Upsell additional products or services to existing clients.
  • Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers, highlighting opportunities.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy for assigned territory to develop prospective clients.
  • Work with senior leadership, marketing, finance, and professional service groups to communicate customer needs, forecasting and partner on sales efforts, including new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Attend tradeshows and key events to drive brand awareness and revenue.

 

What You Will Bring

 

  • You have graduated with a bachelor’s degree and have 4+ years’ professional experience in project-based sales, ideally within the IT Services space.
  • You reside in the Northeast, with preference in the states of New Jersey or Massachusetts.
  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and effectively in a self-directed, proactive, results-oriented environment.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of an organization.
  • You have demonstrated consistent sales performance in achieving and exceeding sales objectives.
  • You can build credibility, integrity, and confidence with the customer.
  • You have demonstrated consulting aptitude with the understanding of business drivers behind technology.
  • You are willing to travel nationally up to 30%.
