Our ServiceNow Elite Partner is looking for ITOM engineer to provide configuration, etc in support of an enterprise CMDB initiative.
The end-client are building a CMDB for their network devices. This program will now go enterprise-wide. They need help with ingestion of data, creating SN groups, and understand types of data and do normalization and synchronization within the CMDB.


  • Interact with the ServiceNow Discovery domain.
  • Perform normalization and synchronization with the CMDB.
  • Handle business rules, client scripts, script includes, script actions/events, import sets, export sets, asynchronous transformation, scripted REST, etc
  • Build transform maps to import data sources and maintain integrations.
  • Perform scripting
  • Work on automation and build custom workflow (orchestration) activities.
  • Coordinate with ITSM process owners
  • Provide troubleshooting, as needed

Required Skills:

  • Expert level knowledge on the ServiceNow core platform modules and applications.
  • Deeply familiar with CMDB and/or ITOM, CI’s, Discovery, ITSM, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and modules.
  • Experience with ongoing reliability testing.
  • Experience with Agile/SaFe methodology.
  • Expertise with JavaScript, or Powershell script.
  • Experience building transform maps
  • Experience working on ServiceNow Automations and building custom Orchestration (Workflow) activities.
  • Experience with MID server builds, Service Mapping, and Integrations.
  • Experience with network routing and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Discovery issues with known and unknown IPs and any network devices.


  • Experienced in Agile process
  • Prior experience working for a large enterprise


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
  • ServiceNow Administrator and/or Developer certification
  • ITIL certification.
  • CIS-Discovery (Desirable)
  • CIS Service Mapping (Desirable)
