About the Job:

As an Engineering Manager for ServiceNow, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Engineers in the completion of projects and engineering tasks for several major customers. Your time will be split between managing an engineering team and hands-on engineering work on engagements. Your duties include training qualified engineers, assigning engineers to projects based on skill set, and developing ServiceNow engineering solutions for customers. You will also focus on growing your engineers' careers, provide them guidance and feedback as they improve their verbal and engineering skills, and help them become SME’s in specific tech stacks and ServiceNow modules. You will oversee a team of 5 engineers, collaborating with them to deliver effective ServiceNow solutions within the ITX modules.

Responsibilities
Meet weekly 1×1 with the engineering team to provide career guidance, feedback, and help them reach their engineering goals.
Manage individual contributors, and grow teams of exceptional engineers, ensuring they deliver high-quality, timely work and that they’re happy, motivated, and excited about future opportunities
Own the delivery and implementation of the respective ServiceNow modules, for several projects with Fortune 500 customers.
Design highly scalable, testable code.
Discover and fix programming bugs.
Support your team of engineers in removing blockers, ensuring progress, and helping them overcome engineering challenges in their day-to-day tasks.
Work with teams across ServiceNow and the business to ensure we are supporting their existing product needs and to make sure we understand what additional needs teams expect to have in the future.
Drive the technical and organizational direction of the ServiceNow engineering team, by taking customer feedback and optimizing our delivery models with our Project Managers.

Requirements
You have experience building and supporting ServiceNow modules for customers.
You have experience working with multiple projects at the same time
Work independently with customers on implementations and remote services
Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills
You have previously managed engineering teams
You have experience working with other teams to deliver projects

Nice to Haves:
You have experience with project delivery and consulting
Experience working with Web Services technologies such as SOAP and REST
