Position Overview
- A innovative system administrator that will manage ON PREM IT systems
- Create and manage the computer infrastructure and networking infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Manage computer equipment
- Handle the servers connected to medical devices
- Monitor and build out on-prem networking and directory services
- Set up and maintain wireless networks
- Make sure systems are secure from unauthorized access
- Keep IT infrastructure updated
- Maintain server backup systems and
- Maintain the on-prem HPC infrastructure
- Maintain computers & handle inventory/procurement
- Manage employee software accounts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, IT or something similar
- Strong experience in Unix
- Experience with Windows operating systems
- Must have experience in computer networking and security
- Must be able to maintain and upgrade computer hardware & software
- Experience with HPC infrastructure and maintenance (Slurm Workload Manager, Son of Grid Engineer/SGE, etc.)
