Associate Director Analytics (Commercial Operations)

Company Overview

Our client are a pharmaceutical company focused on Neurology and Oncology who are continuously developing innovative therapeutic and have previously discovered several successful treatments.

They are hiring a Associate Director of Analytics who can provide actionable solutions to solve key business problems, be able to coordinate with 3rd party vendors and consultants as needed, as well as the ability to present their findings and results to leadership.

Job Responsibilities 

• Provide analytics support

• Make recommendations to sales, marketing, and leadership

• Identify solutions to field needs with existing report data

• Review potential solutions with leadership in order to receive confirmation to proceed forward

• Develop plan of action upon approval

• Ensure optimal use of tools

• Interpret key business reports

• Provide business insights/cause effect pertaining to reported information

• Develop and maintain reporting and validation testing standards 

• Monitor compliance with these standards

• Oversee data quality management process  

• Ensure timely, accurate and complete patient and specialty pharmacy data

• Work closely with Field Sales

• Continually improve systems and processes

• Increase Field effectiveness and company performance

• Develop & maintain business rules/ SOP documentation

• Lead 3rd Party Agreements and Vendor Management

Job Requirements

• Masters Degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics or similar field

• Must be able to present various reports and findings in a concise manner

• Knowledge of 3rd party pharmaceutical sales and script data

• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry

• Experience working in commercial operations or related field

• Project management and analytical skills

• Customer focused with excellent communication 

• Ability to work with all levels within organization

• Must have experience working with IT staff

• Proficient in BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau etc.

• Consulting experience is a plus
