This is an exciting opportunity to work for a world leading end-to-end IT services company. Our client is a Global Strategic Partner of ServiceNow, who implement state of the art solutions and shape IT roadmap planning for their Fortune 500 customers.

As a Project Manager, you will deliver both Business requirements, project coordination, and supporting the successful delivery of IT Service Management solutions for Germany.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages project teams within Germany and abroad of 5 – 15 resources, applying basic project management principles for development through deployment to include preparing detailed project plans, tracking, reporting status, delegating, and providing performance feedback (Management).

  • Manages the scope, delivery, quality, and acceptance of team’s assigned tasks. Identifies project problems and issues take appropriate and autonomous decisions, presents reports to multiple levels of management, and recommends solutions (Management).

  • Prioritizes work, meets deadlines and budgets, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment

  • Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously

  • Supports detailed statements of work creation (SOW) in cooperation with Sales & Consultants

  • Develops standards, templates, and procedures to aid in the development of the required work products (Methodology).

  • Understands and interprets conceptual business model views and high-level and detailed business process designs (Business).

  • Establishes and maintains networking relationships with Customer Stakeholders (Relationship Management).

  • Understands client business processes and matches them to relevant services or products; manages client expectations (Leverage).

  • Understands and communicates goals and critical success factors for the project; sells ideas persuasively and paces the communications properly (Communication).



What you bring with you:

Education (degree) and professional experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Skilled in project planning and organization

  • Five or more years of experience with project control activities and managing small teams in business or technical disciplines, preferably within a consulting environment

  • Experience working with industry-standard techniques, tools, and approaches for managing IT projects e.g. MS Project and MS Visio

  • Experience working with delivery assurance and risk management principles and procedures as appropriate for your area of responsibility

  • Experience working with techniques and approaches related to the deployment of project phases e.g. Scrum

  • Any project management certification is a plus.

  • Experience in ServiceNow is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel
