Job Overview:

• This position will be responsible for the integration of the company’s APIs with Athena Marketplace
• Responsible for participating in requirements analysis and decomposition, internal testing and the documentation of same for the application-application integrations
• Primary responsibilities will also include troubleshooting existing integrations and providing technical support to the agency's application development team
• The position will work cross-functionally with product engineering, product managers, business operations and external stakeholders

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the organizations journey, end to end, towards launching their app on the Athena Marketplace.
• Create and maintain technical design documents and requirements including workflow design of company’s API’s
• Review and improve the technical specs and perform code reviews and integration testing
• Borrow from technical experience with Athena’s APIs to help review and improve our technical specs
• Perform code reviews and integration testing
• Performance test the product and help code as well
• Participate in design and planning meetings with company’s API customer Programmers and Systems Architects
• Customer onboarding by providing required authorization and access to API’s using company proprietary tools
• Resolve and manage requests from API customers regarding programming interfaces, including inbound/outbound API’s call using required tool and technologies during customer development and maintenance phase

 
Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 2 years of experience in integrations and maintaining APIs
• Hands-on developer that has developed, launched and is maintaining (or has maintained) an app on the Athena Marketplace
• Developer with experience utilizing the various Athena integration options, specifically the custom APIs, FHIR and SAML SSO
• Advance skills in XML, XSD, SOAP, Restful API design and architecture, Java, JavaScript, and Webservices
• Experience coding SMART on FHIR solutions (even better if experienced in other EMRs in addition to Athena)
• Proficiency in Node.js with Typescript and PHP with Laravel
• Has experience working with code in the Amazon Cloud RDS Mysql; S3; EC2; Docker
• Experience analyzing and resolving support issues
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills, ability to solve problems, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to do well in a high-pressure environment
