Senior Software Engineer

Our client is an exciting and rapidly expanding financial startup that specializes in investing, banking, and education. With their mobile application and platform, they deliver innovative solutions that empower users in their financial endeavors. Located in Connecticut, they are currently seeking to hire two talented full-stack engineers who have experience working on mobile applications to join their dynamic team.

Your Role:

• As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will develop a mobile native application and work on the core frontend experience.
• Responsible to design efficient and reusable components for backend systems.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Help power multiple websites and mobile applications.
• Set up testing, pipeline infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with design, product, and other engineers to execute the product roadmap.
• Report directly to the CTO and collaborate with the existing development team.

Your Skillset:

• 8+ years of software engineering or development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have experience working on mobile applications.
• Experience in UI development using React Native.
• Frontend Skills in React, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Backend skills in Golang, Python, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, Jenkins.
• Strong command of SQL, React, and other databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.
• Experience building complex microservices-based architecture.
• Familiarity with multi-tenancy systems.
• Experience in finance, banking, investing, or related domains is a bonus.
