Cyber Security Engineer

Job: Cybersecurity Engineer
Location: Amsterdam (hybrid)
Day Rate: €550 p/d
Duration: 6+ months

An Amsterdam based international business is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team. This is an initial 6 month day rate contract with a high chance of extension.

Day-to-day duties:

• Developing managed security systems/services in the field of Firewalling

• Perform managed firewall security activities

• Performing patches, updates and upgrades

• Keep orchestration and automation of changes up to date

• Resolving incidents (including standby service)

• Performance and capacity management

• Keep operational documentation up to date

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Fortinet suite of products related to NGFW

• Knowledge of Palo Alto suite of products related to NGFW

• Knowledge of OpenVPN

• At least 7 years of managed services experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the security field

• Experience with and knowledge of incident resolution (second and possibly third line)

• Experience with creating and/or maintaining installation manuals and run books is a plus

• In possession of relevant certifications in the field of Cyber Security, such as CISSP

• Other certifications are a plus, such as ITIL, CCSP, CEH, TOGAF

• Written and oral Dutch skills are excellent

• Screening level-B

• Dutch passport.
