Our client are a prominent player in the travel industry, that specializes in assisting customers in locating the most suitable choices for their upcoming journeys. As they strive to improve their groundbreaking travel application and provide users with more tailored experiences, they are currently looking for a skilled Engineering Manager to join their team in Cambridge or Concord, MA.
Your Role:

As the Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for creating captivating user experiences for millions of users worldwide.

You will work closely with other teams to develop innovative features and maintain the company’s competitive edge.

Lead and manage a team of skilled engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.

Drive technical solutions, taking the lead on all aspects of code quality
-
Collaborate with product management and design teams to define project requirements and scope.
-
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the engineering team.

Implement and maintain best practices, standards, and processes for software development and delivery.
-
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle.
Your Skillset:
-
5+ years of relevant experience in web application development.

Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
-
Demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and meet project deadlines.

Advanced knowledge of React, Typescript, Javascript, CSS and HTML.

Understanding of performance considerations, particularly related to browsers.

Experience in Mentoring and supporting other team members through code review, pair programming, and collaboration.
**Please Note** This role required the successful candidate to work from the Concord or Cambridge office, 3 days a week.
