ServiceNow Architect

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Functional Architect to join our clients established ServiceNow practice as they venture into an exciting new niche market. This is a permanent, home-based role with occasional visits to offices in either London or Manchester. As a ServiceNow Functional Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable and efficient solutions based on the ServiceNow platform. Your expertise will help mentor and guide junior members of the team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and driving the growth of our ServiceNow practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional and Technical Design: Utilize your proven background in functional and technical scalable design to create innovative and efficient solutions tailored to meet client requirements on the ServiceNow platform.

Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrate strong leadership skills by guiding and mentoring junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Requirements Gathering and Implementation: Leverage your experience in requirements gathering, design, and implementation to successfully deliver ServiceNow projects, ensuring they meet client business needs and align with technical architecture and solutions.

Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions, collaborating with technical architects and solutions leads to ensure optimal project outcomes.

Business Development Support: Support bid opportunities for ServiceNow projects, showcasing Sopra Steria's consulting business expertise to secure additional revenue and attract new clients.

Documentation: Author and review functional specification documentation for implementations and other large projects, ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

Stay Updated on ServiceNow Platform: Stay ahead of new functions, releases, and features within the ServiceNow Cloud platforms, providing insights and recommendations for leveraging these advancements to enhance our offerings.

Collaboration with Partners: Collaborate with partner organizations to support and enable their project implementation teams in adopting functional standard methodologies for ServiceNow projects.

Optimal Technology Utilization: Ensure the efficient use of technology for both business and IT purposes, seeking out the best out-of-the-box (OOTB) or ad-hoc solutions to deliver high-quality IT services.

ServiceNow Module Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge and experience with various ServiceNow modules, including CSM (Customer Service Management), FSM (Field Service Management), HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery), and ITSM (IT Service Management).

Web-based Architecture: Familiarity with web-based architecture principles and practices to design and implement robust solutions within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Certifications and Methodologies: Hold relevant certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist, Scrum, ITIL, and demonstrate familiarity with TOGAF methodologies. Additionally, if not already certified, be actively pursuing the ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect certification.

Requirements:

Proven background in functional and technical scalable design.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Extensive experience in requirements gathering, design, and implementation of ServiceNow projects.
Strong client management skills, with the ability to understand and address business requirements effectively.
Proficiency in authoring and reviewing functional specification documentation.
Up-to-date knowledge of new functions, releases, and features within ServiceNow Cloud platforms.
Collaborative approach in working with partner organizations to support their project implementation teams.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Specific expertise in ServiceNow modules, including CSM, FSM, HRSD, and ITSM.
Understanding of web-based architecture principles.
Certified Implementation Specialist and Scrum certifications.
Experience in integrating ServiceNow with third-party enterprise applications.
Familiarity with ServiceNow Integration Hub.
Knowledge of ITIL and TOGAF methodologies.
On the path to becoming a certified ServiceNow Technical Architect or already certified.
