We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer for a UK-based contract role outside IR35. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across multiple companies. Your expertise in the latest ServiceNow release and IT Service Management (ITSM) modules will be essential in ensuring successful ServiceNow service desk setups from scratch.
Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Development: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow products and development framework to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements. This includes customization, configuration, and integration with 3rd party tools using web services, SOAP, email, MID, etc.

ITSM Modules Implementation: Demonstrate hands-on experience in implementing ITSM modules, such as Incident, Problem, Request, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, Configuration, and Asset. Ensure that the implemented modules are aligned with industry best practices.

Scripting and Programming: Be proficient in Glide and Jelly Scripting, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and AJAX to develop and customize ServiceNow applications and interfaces effectively.

Service Desk Setup: Showcase your proven track record of standing up a ServiceNow Service Desk from scratch. This includes configuring and customizing workflows, forms, and reports to meet specific business needs.

Integration: Establish seamless integrations between ServiceNow and various 3rd party tools and applications. Use your expertise to implement efficient and effective data exchanges to enhance overall service delivery.

Knowledge Management: Leverage your knowledge of IT Service Management toolsets, including Knowledge Base and Configuration Management (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Microsoft SCCM) to support the organization's knowledge sharing and management initiatives.
Requirements:

Experience and Qualification: Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in ServiceNow development and implementation, across multiple companies. Relevant qualifications or certifications in ServiceNow development will be highly regarded.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Glide and Jelly Scripting, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and AJAX is essential. Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other systems using web services, SOAP, email, MID, etc., is required.

ServiceNow Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow products and development framework, with the ability to design and implement solutions that align with industry best practices.
