Based in Dublin, this is a day rate contract role where you will collaborate with experts and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in AI and data analytics. As a Research Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our User Experience Service (UES) and Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) team, working at the forefront of technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities

– Apply AI and advanced optimization algorithms to develop scalable solutions for challenges in AIOps, user behavior analysis, and public opinion analytics.
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create research Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and translate them into practical solutions.
– Design and implement system components that bridge the gap between research and real-world production, aligning with business objectives.
– Share research findings through publications and engage with relevant research communities.
– Contribute to the intelligent automation of DevOps, service operations, and experience optimization by leveraging a diverse range of operational data.

Requirements

– PhD in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, AI, or equivalent practical experience applying AI and data analysis techniques to solve real-world challenges.
– Proficiency in coding, particularly in languages like Python.
– Solid understanding of cloud service management, user experience optimization, or user behavior analysis is advantageous.
– Strong teamwork and independent problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication abilities to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
