Role and Responsibilities:
As a Data Scientist at our AI-driven Healthcare startup, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our platform’s capabilities, ensuring that healthcare professionals can easily access and understand complex data. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and implement advanced algorithms using novel techniques to extract insights from diverse healthcare and biopharma datasets.
• AI-driven Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build AI-driven solutions that cater to the specific needs of healthcare professionals, enabling them to ask questions about their data and receive instant, accurate answers.
• Generative AI and NLP: Leverage your expertise in Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to enhance the platform’s ability to understand and generate human-like responses to user queries.
• Machine Learning and Deep Learning: Apply your strong background in machine learning and deep learning to create models that uncover meaningful patterns and relationships within complex healthcare datasets.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large and intricate healthcare datasets to identify key insights, trends, and opportunities, translating them into actionable recommendations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with data engineers, software developers, and domain experts to integrate your data science solutions seamlessly into the platform.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, healthcare, and biopharma industries, and bring innovative ideas to the table to enhance the platform’s capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in the Healthcare or Biopharma industry, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in these domains.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries.
• Solid experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLM), and Natural Language Processing (NLP), with the ability to develop and fine-tune NLP models for specific healthcare use cases.
• Expertise in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with a track record of designing and implementing models for complex data analysis.
• Proven ability to implement algorithms using novel techniques and a strong foundation in statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with implementing AI solutions in healthcare settings and an understanding of privacy and regulatory considerations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
