Security Engineering Lead

• Role: Security Engineering Lead
• Experience: 6-9 years
• Location: Remote, but must work during Central or Eastern Time
• Duration: Full Time
• Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and direction to the security engineering team, including managing and mentoring team members
• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions for our organization
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures related to Zscaler and other security technologies
• Perform security assessments and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats in the organization's infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve security issues related to Zscaler and other security technologies
• Stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and trends in security, and provide recommendations for improvements to our security posture
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the organization's infrastructure
• Provide guidance and training to other members of the IT team on the use of Zscaler and other security technologies
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in a security engineering role, with a focus on Zscaler
• Zscaler certification(s) such as ZCCA, ZCCP, or ZCTA
• Strong knowledge of network security, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and VPNs
• Experience with cloud-based security solutions, including CASB and DLP technologies
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of security engineers
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• The Security Engineering Lead will be the subject matter expert for Zscaler and will be responsible for leading the security engineering team in the implementation and maintenance of the Zscaler environment.
