Product Manager – Search & Discovery

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Product Manager, Search, to join our innovative team in New York, NY. Our company, a leading online marketplace connecting design enthusiasts to an extensive collection of unique and exquisite items, is dedicated to enhancing the user experience. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Search functionality, optimizing user engagement, and contributing to our continued growth.

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute the Search strategy and roadmap.
• Optimize Seller Ads across our platform to benefit both buyers and sellers.
• Establish requirements, objectives, and success metrics for Search product launches, including the design and execution of A/B tests.
• Integrate user research and analytics into product development processes.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to create and iterate on key features.
• Serve as a cross-functional leader, partnering with various teams to drive new product initiatives.
• Manage projects utilizing agile methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 4 years of product management experience in an Agile environment, including leading standups, sprint planning, and user testing.
• Strong technical understanding of Search functions in a two-sided marketplace.
• Proficient in data analysis and capable of writing SQL queries to assess feature performance and make informed decisions.
• Ability to dissect complex problems and effectively communicate potential solutions across different functions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey project updates and results to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization principles and factors influencing page ranking.
• Experience with search personalization and search rank algorithms is a plus.

Compensation Range (Tri-State Area)

$144,500—$170,000 USD
