Our client are seeking an experienced and skilled ServiceNow Service Portal Developer to join their dynamic team. As a key member of our IT Service Management (ITSM) team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow Service Portals to enhance user experience and streamline service delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

  • As a ServiceNow Service Portal Developer, you will design, develop and implement ServiceNow Service Portals based on business requirements and user experience best practices.

  • You will customize portal widgets, forms, and pages to create a user-friendly and efficient interface.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and expectations, ensuring that Service Portals meet and exceed user experience standards.

  • Configure and customize ServiceNow instances to align with organizational processes and requirements.

  • Implement and maintain portal configurations, including catalog items, workflows and integrations.

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to ServiceNow Service Portals.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of Service Portal configurations, customizations and development activities.

Skillset:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow developer with a focus on Service Portals.

  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant web development technologies.

  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting and customization tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is a plus.
