They are hiring a Data Scientist to join their team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in uncovering valuable insights from extensive datasets and actively contribute to the creation of generative AI solutions aimed at enhancing audience engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Data Scientist, you will be responsible to develop Generative AI tools for heightened remote audience engagement. 

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement Data Science strategies in messaging, advertising and surveys.

  • Apply deep expertise in data modeling, A/B testing and the design of impactful experiments to assess product features’ influence on user behavior.

  • Optimize experimentation and advertising methods, ensuring the delivery of high-quality ad campaigns and effective information dissemination.

  • Leverage longitudinal datasets from previous ad campaigns for a competitive advantage and continuous improvement of historical efforts.

  • Contribute to diverse projects within the Data Science team, utilizing various techniques such as machine learning, network analysis, sampling methodologies, multi-language NLP and data visualization.

Skillset:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Data Science role, demonstrating proficiency in Python programming.

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Familiarity with common Machine Learning libraries such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.

  • Knowledge in Generative AI or NLP, with experience in building/tuning neural networks (especially LLMs) and database technologies (e.g., ElasticSearch, Snowflake, SQL).

  • Solid understanding of statistics, encompassing familiarity with statistical tests, distributions, and maximum likelihood estimators.

  • Demonstrated ability to scope and plan data science projects, navigate technical constraints, and offer creative solutions.

  • Familiarity with software development procedures/tools like Agile, Git, and Jira is a bonus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
