Our client within the Defense industry are hiring a Data Scientist to join their MLOps team in Ohio or Alabama. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including the development of ML prototype solutions, as well as collaborating on the creation of ML models and automated systems.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible to retrieve and process extensive structured and unstructured datasets.
You will construct ML models and automated systems, incorporating recommendation and scoring tools.
Conduct statistical analysis and data mining to formulate predictive systems.
Develop ML prototype solutions utilizing technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc. and test ML applications using Python, Linux and Docker.
Present methodology and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with teams to articulate crucial findings and exchange best practices and domain knowledge.

Skillset:

Top Secret Security Clearance is a must.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
Substantial experience in the capacity of a Data Scientist or within an advanced analytical role.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, statistics, and data mining.
Demonstrated deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning techniques.
Exceptional communication skills.
