Our client is an IT Services & Consulting firm, boasting a demonstrated history of cost savings through their effective delivery methodology. Specializing in ITSM, ITAM, IRM and ITOM solutions, they are dedicated to empowering clients to unlock the complete potential of the ServiceNow Platform. 

They are hiring a ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will offer strategic insights and architectural guidance for upgrades, day-to-day management, and backlog prioritization, as well as conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training to enhance team collaboration and skill development.

Responsibilities: 

  • As a ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant, you will provide strategic insights and architectural guidance to the team for ITOM upgrades, day-to-day management, and backlog prioritization.

  • You will be responsible to conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training to enhance team collaboration and skill development.

  • Collaborate within team environments, offering support and assistance to achieve common goals.

  • Work closely with clients to understand ITOM requirements, challenges and analyze business processes in IT Operations Management.

  • Design ServiceNow ITOM solutions based on client requirements, developing technical specifications and documentation.

  • Integrate ServiceNow ITOM solutions with other modules and third-party tools as required.

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, updates and patches for the stability and security of the ITOM environment.

Skillset:

  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM, specifically the IT Operations Management Suite and ServiceNow Discovery setup, management and troubleshooting.

  • Demonstrate expertise in ServiceNow integration within the ITOM suite, including examples such as ServiceNow Discovery, MS-SCCM, Big Fix, Rapid7, Tanium etc.

  • Embrace a self-starter and proactive persona, taking the lead in providing both proactive and reactive leadership in diverse environments.

  • Comfortably navigate and work with ServiceNow’s Common Services Data Model (CSDM), applying it effectively in the course of duties.

  • Any background in vulnerability management, hardware asset management and software asset management is considered beneficial.
