They are hiring a Software Engineer – Autonomy to join the team onsite in Iowa, playing a crucial part in the development of software for autonomous mobile equipment within the agricultural and construction sector. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, fast-paced, and agile team, utilizing their creativity to design code ranging from user interface development to machine control.


  • As a Software Engineer – Autonomy, you will be responsible to create and validate algorithms and tools for sensor fusion. 

  • You will pioneer and improve subsystems dedicated to mapping, localization and object tracking within mobile equipment. 

  • Assist in implementing perception and vehicle planning using multi-body kinematics for company equipment. 

  • Formulate data models and employ machine learning algorithms to analyze extensive datasets, recognizing patterns, trends and market dynamics for input into product development planning. 

  • Collaborate on the design of intricate algorithms or software architectures.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Computer Science, Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Physics or Math.

  • A minimum of eight years of experience in both Product Development and Autonomy.

  • Proficiency in software development utilizing C++, Python and Matlab.

  • Self-driven, enthusiastic and motivated to tackle challenging engineering problems.

  • Strong expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

  • Basic understanding of mission planning and IoT connectivity specific to autonomy devices.

  • Working knowledge of vehicle autonomy.
