Our client is an exciting startup that are applying artificial intelligence to revolutionize the defense industry. They are hiring a Data Scientist to join the team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing and launching efficient and reliable data pipelines. The successful candidate will leverage the organization’s datasets to provide intuitive analytics and insights to solve complex customer problems.

Responsibilities:

As the Data Scientist, you will be responsible to identify and utilize datasets to drive solution development.
You will perform data curation, analysis, and quantitative modeling.
Ensure validation and quality assurance of data, models, and outcomes.
Collaborate with the product team to deploy and execute solutions.
Engage with the product team to grasp current and future user needs.

Skillset:

Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or equivalent.
Proficient in managing databases, including MySQL and Oracle.
Experienced in large-scale data processing and batch processing pipelines within HPC or cloud infrastructure.
Strong statistical background with a bonus in Machine Learning expertise.
Familiarity with Cloud Computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure is advantageous.
Candidates must possess an active DoD or IC sponsored TS/SCI clearance.
