Job Title: IT Security Engineer
Duration: 9 month day rate contract
Location: Dublin, Ireland (hybrid)
Day Rate: In line with market.

A customer of Alldus is seeking a skilled IT Security Engineer to support on a number of projects including a network hardening project, SIEM upgrade project and various digital transformation projects. This is an initial 9-month day rate contract with a high chance of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage security solutions to protect IT infrastructure.

• Conduct security assessments and respond to incidents promptly.

• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with teams to integrate security controls into systems.

• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 6+ years' experience in IT security roles.

• Strong knowledge of networking and security protocols.

• Experience delivering Security Operations tools and functions e.g. SIEM (Sentinel), TVM (Qualys), NDR, EDR (Crowdstrike), NAC (Forescout) etc. 

• Experience with security assessment tools and frameworks.( ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls)

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred. (CISSP, CISM, CEH)

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
