Founding VP of Engineering

Our client who are reshaping the future of work is hiring a VP of Engineering to spearhead their engineering team towards excellence and scalability. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Product Lead to mold their engineering roadmap and ensure it aligns with the organization’s ambitious product objectives.

Responsibilities:

• As the VP of Engineering, you will drive the implementation of best practices and streamline engineering processes.

• You will collaborate with leadership to define and execute the engineering roadmap.

• Take the lead in expanding our engineering team and recruiting top-tier talent.

• Ensure the maintenance of a high-quality codebase and stay abreast of backend technologies.

• Make critical system design decisions and manage CI/CD pipelines.

• Maintain a balance between hands-on coding and strategic leadership.

Skillset:

• Experience in engineering leadership within a B2B SaaS environment. 

• Proficient in Python, FastAPI, Docker, PostgreSQL, Celery, and Redis.

• Possess a keen intuition for system design and architecture.

• At least 6 years of experience with Python, along with familiarity with JavaScript.

• Expertise in establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
