Our client is a leading professional services provider within the federal government sector and they are hiring an AI/ML Systems Engineer to join the team in Maryland. The successful candidate work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and intelligence analysts to create and deploy cutting-edge AI applications tailored for the federal industry.

Responsibilities:

As the AI/ML Systems Engineer, you will provide expert systems engineering services and subject matter expertise to validate technical and operational solutions.
You will contribute to the development of acquisition documentation including Statements of Work (SOWs), specifications, engineering plans and evaluation strategies.
Utilize AI analysis products to formulate strategy recommendations aligned with government objectives.
Troubleshoot and resolve AI-related issues to ensure the reliability and accuracy of AI-driven applications.
Assist in the implementation of Machine Learning Engineer frameworks and initiatives.
Analyze statistics, data and algorithms for projection accuracy, presenting findings to team leadership and stakeholders.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing products and services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least six years of relevant work experience.
Proven experience in government software acquisitions.
Proficient in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and relevant libraries.
Demonstrated capability in constructing and maintaining large-scale, distributed, and high-performance data pipelines for AI/ML tasks.
Thorough understanding of machine learning technologies and their application in intelligence operations.
Familiarity with various machine learning models and their relevance in intelligence analysis.
Knowledgeable about AI/ML-based systems, including understanding model values and statistical analysis.
Minimum TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
