Our client, a leading global consulting firm, are hiring a Cloud Engineer – Manager to join their Public Sector and Government division based in Washington D.C. Responsibilities:

As the Cloud Engineer – Manager, you will spearhead cloud architecture planning and implementation across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings.
You will document cloud service offerings, enriching technical architecture diagrams with expertise.
Engage with client technical leadership, adeptly conveying intricate technical concepts.
Discover efficiencies in service offerings and implement inventive solutions.
Customize infrastructure to meet client security requirements, comprehending implications on expansive systems.

Skillset:

Hold certification as a Cloud Solution Architect with expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Minimum of eight years of experience in Cloud Engineering.
Experience in utilizing automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible or similar, for continuous integration, testing and delivery.
Expertise in implementing DevOps principles.
Strong scripting proficiency in languages like Python, Powershell or equivalent.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Eligible to secure and sustain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Minimum of 5 years of US Army Cloud experience.
