Our client are focused on delivering high quality IT solutions IT solutions to Fortune 500 companies and prominent government organizations. They are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team on a contract basis, responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the company’s cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing monitoring solutions using Datadog to monitor the health, performance and availability of cloud-based systems, applications and services.

  • You will configure and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and developers to integrate, configure and optimize Salesforce CPQ solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IaC) templates to streamline deployment and management processes.

  • Lead incident response and resolution efforts for cloud-based systems and applications, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.

  • Design and implement scalable and resilient architectures for Salesforce CPQ implementations.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.

  • At least five years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role within a cloud-based environment.

  • Practical experience with the Datadog monitoring platform and Microsoft Azure cloud services.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ implementation, configuration and optimization.

  • Strong scripting and automation abilities utilizing Python, PowerShell or Bash.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.

  • Possession of Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist or Salesforce Certified Administrator is a bonus.
