Freshworks Engineer

Our client, a renowned global IT services provider are hiring a Senior Engineer specializing in NEXLA and FRESHSERVICE integration on a  contract basis to join their team in Irvine, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, developing, and supporting the ITSM platform, utilizing both pre-built Fresh Service solutions and customized approaches tailored to meet specific business needs.

Responsibilities:

• As a Freshworks Engineer, you will customize ITSM applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules, including configuring Application UI and Workflow.

• You will engage with clients in client and business discussions for requirements gathering and planning.

• Conduct onsite design and functional reviews prior to module delivery.

• Configure and customize the system to support business processes and functionality.

• Work closely with other ITSM administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes.

• Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions, ensuring a reliable and reproducible development/production environment.

• Collaborate with System Administration and key stakeholder teams to analyze requirements and transform them into valid solutions.

• Gather input from business and IT teams to support ongoing business needs for configuration, implementation and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

• Proven expertise in configuring and customizing ITSM applications, with a focus on NEXLA and FRESHSERVICE.

• Deep understanding of business processes and proficiency in requirements gathering.

• Experience working with Agile development methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
