ServiceNow Architect

Our client are an award-winning IT Solutions organization and they are hiring a ServiceNow Architect skilled in ServiceNow Discovery and Asset Discovery to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work alongside diverse teams, take charge of technical tasks and assume the role of a ServiceNow Discovery specialist.. 

Responsibilities:

• As the ServiceNow Architect, you will lead and oversee ServiceNow Discovery and Asset Discovery projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and IT strategies.

• You will create, develop and deploy Discovery solutions leveraging ServiceNow platform capabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions tailored to meet business needs.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality outcomes.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by assessing new technologies and methodologies.

• Act as a go-to expert on ServiceNow Discovery, providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise.

• Develop and manage documentation, including design specifications and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and execute data normalization, reconciliation and enrichment processes.

Skillset:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Discovery.

• Expertise with ServiceNow Discovery solutions with at least six years of hands-on development and implementation experience.

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components, encompassing networks, servers, storage and applications.

• Proficient in JavaScript, XML and other pertinent programming languages.

• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Experience with AWS is a bonus.
