ServiceNow Developer

Our client are an award-winning IT Solutions organization and they are hiring a ServiceNow Developer to join the team on a contract basis. Specializing in ServiceNow Discovery and Asset Discovery, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s initiatives forward, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives. 
 

Responsibilities:

• As the ServiceNow Developer, you will head and execute ServiceNow Discovery and Asset Discovery projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and IT strategies.

• You will design, develop and implement robust Discovery solutions using ServiceNow platform capabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and architect solutions that exceed business needs.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance Discovery capabilities and operational efficiency.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to ServiceNow Discovery.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data normalization, reconciliation and enrichment processes for accurate asset data.

Skillset:

• Minimum of six years of hands-on experience in crafting and deploying ServiceNow Discovery solutions.

• Certifications in ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Discovery.

• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure elements including networks, servers, storage and applications.

• Proficient in JavaScript, XML and other pertinent programming languages and technologies.

• AWS experience is a plus.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
