Mid Senior Data Engineer

Title: Data Engineer

Location: Dublin, Ireland (2-3 days onsite per week)

Our Healthtech client are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with extensive experience in data modelling and data governance to join their customers team. This role will focus on transforming research and development (R&D) insights into production-level solutions, particularly within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust data models.

• Implement and oversee data governance practices.

• Conduct risk assessments and provide improved options for consumers.

• Transition R&D findings to production.

• Perform data quality checks and monitoring.

• Collaborate with the product team to finalize data engineering handover processes.

• Data Transformation and Processing: Develop data transformation routines to clean, normalize, and aggregate data. 

• Apply data processing techniques to handle complex data structures, handle missing or inconsistent data, and prepare the data for analysis, reporting, or machine learning tasks.

Skillset

• Minimum 3+ years exp in Data Engineering (Mid to Senior level preferable)

• Skills – Python, SQL, Spark & Azure

• Preferable exp – Snowflake & Kafka

• Previous experience within the health care and/or highly regulated industries would be preferable.
