Our IT Services client is hiring an experienced IT Expert specializing in Software Asset Management (SAM) on a contract basis to guide the advisory process for procedural implementation. This role requires hands-on experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management, particularly with the latest out-of-the-box (OOTB) features in ServiceNow. The successful candidate will lead the customer’s SAM team and provide expert advice based on previous project implementations.

Responsibilities

As the Software Asset Management – IT Expert, you will guide the advisory process for the procedural implementation of SAM, utilizing practical knowledge of OOTB features in ServiceNow.
Direct and support the customer’s SAM team, providing hands-on assistance and answering queries regarding processes and requests.
Develop and design the concept for Software Models/Software Catalog as a next step in the project.
Address the lack of license management by creating necessary OOTB reports.
Lead the customer’s team through direct interactions and consultations, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to best practices.

Skillset

Fluency in English and German is a must.
Extensive experience in ITSM and IT Asset Management modules, with a strong background in leading projects and teams.
Practical, hands-on skills in implementing and utilizing ServiceNow’s OOTB features.
Certifications: Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) and ITIL Certification.
