Our client is a VC-backed series A startup leading the charge in transforming the eCommerce landscape. They are hiring a Python Software Engineer to team up with their AI specialists in San Francisco to bring forth groundbreaking messaging products. The successful candidate will spearhead the creation and design of innovative Python systems, driving the company’s vision to redefine commerce.

Responsibilities:

As the Python Software Engineer, you will create and architect novel Python systems.
You will participate in enhancing core chatbot servers and orchestrating chatbot code.
Craft Python RPC endpoints for CRUD APIs.
Drive migration efforts and offer contributions to core libraries and DevOps.

Skillset:

Minimum of three years of hands-on experience working with production-level Python codebases.
Mastery of Python and adeptness in handling extensive programs.
Proficiency in asynchronous programming, utilizing either asyncio or threading.
Knowledgeable in GRPC, Poetry, Pydantic, OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling, and prompt engineering.
Additional merit for contributions to open-source projects and familiarity with large monolithic repositories.
