Our client is transforming government contracting through the power of Generative AI and they are looking for an Account Executive to join their Software Sales team in Washington D.C. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization’s market presence and fueling its growth. 

Responsibilities

  • As the Account Executive, you will be responsible to build and execute a robust pipeline to achieve sales targets.

  • You will identify customer pain points and collaborate with the product team to guide future feature development.

  • Utilize sales tools to find, prospect and qualify new leads.

  • Conduct software demonstrations, manage contract negotiations and close sales.

  • Nurture lasting relationships with top enterprises, industry partners and small to mid-sized businesses across various industries.

  • Engage in upselling opportunities and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience in software sales, with a focus on government contracting. 

  • Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, lead identification and drip campaign emailing tools e.g. SalesLoft etc.

  • Ability to create innovative and customer-centric solutions, coupled with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Innovative, customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work remotely, with a preference for candidates based in the DC, Virginia or Baltimore area.
