Our client, an innovative healthcare organization, are hiring a Principal Business Intelligence/Data Visualization Engineer to join the team in North Carolina. The successful candidate will enhance their data visualization and business intelligence capabilities to transform complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

As the Principal Business Intelligence/Data Visualization Engineer, you will create advanced data visualizations and business intelligence solutions using PowerBI.
You will work with data analysts, engineers and business stakeholders to collect requirements and deliver insights.
Maintain data quality and consistency across BI solutions.
Train and support team members on BI tools and best practices.
Continuously assess and enhance BI processes and tools.
Perform data analysis and produce reports to aid decision-making.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in BI and data visualization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or similar.
Minimum of three years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and data visualization.
Extensive experience with PowerBI.
Proficiency in other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
