Network Engineer

Title: Network Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Contract: 3-Month Rolling
Day rate: €380-450 p/d

A public sector customer in Ireland is looking for a Network Engineer for a 3-month rolling contract. This rolling contract can last up to (and beyond) 12 months.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Cisco Routing & Switching infrastructure.
• Oversee firewall management, with a preference for Checkpoint and Fortinet Firewalls.
• Ensure network security and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly
• Collaborate with IT teams to support network projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Cisco R&S.
• Strong firewall management skills; experience with Checkpoint and Fortinet preferred, but similar experience considered.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment.
