  ServiceNow - Business Analyst / Process Consultant

Contract

Our client are a global IT company and they are hiring a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant to join their team on a contract basis in Atlanta. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, define requirements and deliver tailored ServiceNow solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to assess their current IT processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and document optimized ITSM processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client objectives.
  • Develop detailed process maps, workflows, and related documentation.
  • Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to implement the designed processes.
  • Develop and deploy ServiceNow applications and modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and provide expert advice on process optimization.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate change management and user adoption activities, including training and support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow instances, ensuring high availability and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Service Management and process consulting.
  • Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, customization and implementation of ITSM modules.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Glide.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ITIL Foundation certifications are highly desirable.
