ServiceNow Business Analyst – SPM

Our client, a leading innovator in medical research, are hiring a ServiceNow Business Analyst to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will carry out detailed requirement analysis, document processes, identify technological solutions to meet business needs, and conduct user acceptance testing to improve the quality of IT processes, products and services.

Responsibilities:

• As the ServiceNow Business Analyst , you will act as a liaison between the IT department and business units to ensure effective communication.

• You will coordinate the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solution, ensuring compliance, timeliness and issue escalation.

• You will evaluate and document business workflows, anticipate requirements and understand strategic business needs.

• Conduct meetings and presentations to share insights and findings.

• Analyze the design of technical systems, software expectations and business models, collaborating with vendors, IT teams and business stakeholders.

• Shape business requirements and KPIs by recommending and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.

• Create and maintain reports on vendors, costs and processes.

• Update, implement and maintain IT department procedures, such as onboarding.

• Coordinate key employee engagement activities, tools, and processes, including assisting with survey creation, distribution and follow-up.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business administration or equivalent.

• At least two years of experience working as a business analyst.

• Experience with the ServiceNow suite, specifically the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tool.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
