Functional Subject Matter Expert III (Windows)

Our client, an IT Consulting firm dedicated to the federal sector, are hiring a Functional Subject Matter Expert to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and engineering the Windows Server enterprise infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate as well as provide ongoing support of the Windows Infrastructure.

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all Windows environments and have expert knowledge and skills in using the tools listed above.

• Engineer, integrate, design and deploying various Windows components and expert knowledge in Active Directory, Group Policy, digital certificates, and multi factor integration.

• Manage and maintain DNS for all enclaves within the enterprise. Manage and maintain configuration and design of the enterprise print solution.

• Create and maintain bare-metal and virtual machines with the appropriate distribution of Windows and network configuration

Skillset:

• Microsoft Server operating systems – 2022, 2019 Core and Server with a Desktop Server patching via Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), manually, or by any other means of distribution, including:

• Patching in disconnected networks.

• Scripted validation and remediation.

• 3rd party patching software
