Our client, a trailblazer in the AdTech industry, is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join their Product and Engineering team in New York. The successful candidate will contribute to an established data environment by building and supporting data pipelines and infrastructure, as well as helping to architect future solutions.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Data Engineer, you will design and oversee a complex network and pipeline of data from internal and external sources.
You will ensure high uptime for their integrated SaaS analytics dashboard and related platforms.
Accurately interpret, measure and represent digital media data.
Work with team members to design, build, deploy and maintain reliable data pipelines.
Optimize data stores for fast and efficient querying to support our technology and reporting infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Minimum of seven years of experience in data engineering.
Proficient in Python, Redshift, Postgres, SQL, Spark and Airflow.
Experience with the Pandas library and Docker.
Familiarity with AWS technologies, including ECS, S3, Kinesis, Redshift and EMR.
Knowledge of Scala is a plus.
Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
Background in machine learning.
Experience with AdTech or digital media is a bonus.
