Our client, an AI-driven startup revolutionizing the sales industry, is hiring a hands-on Head of Engineering to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will lead the company’s engineering initiatives, ensuring the development of an exceptional and scalable product.

Responsibilities

As the Head of Engineering, you will design and deploy a scalable architecture for their product and oversee its migration to the cloud.
You will partner with engineers to develop and improve both front-end and back-end components.
Create and manage engineering processes and resources for optimal efficiency.
Collaborate with the founders to shape and implement the engineering roadmap.
Facilitate the expansion of our engineering team by recruiting top-tier talent.
Supervise the engineering department, maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Skillset

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science from a top 10 university in the U.S.
At least ten years of software engineering experience, with hands-on expertise in the MEAN/MERN stack.
Minimum of two years of experience working at a major tech company.
Experience working in a Seed/Series A startup.
Demonstrated ability in managing engineering teams.
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) or Large Multimodal Models (LMMs).
Proven experience in architecting and developing SaaS products from scratch.
Background in mobile app development and deployment is a plus.
