Our client is revolutionizing healthcare through the power of Artificial Intelligence, and they are hiring a Software Engineer to join their team in California. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing software for advanced robotic systems, contributing to meaningful advancements in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:

As the Software Engineer, you will be responsible to create, develop, and validate software for robotic systems that incorporate AI/ML models.

You will enhance deep learning models for efficient deployment and real-time inference.

Set up computing hardware to maximize the performance of AI/ML models.

Analyze system performance and implement necessary optimizations.
-
Conduct risk assessments and design algorithms to ensure safety.
-
Document requirements, potential risks and testing procedures to facilitate regulatory approvals, including those from the FDA.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.

3-5 years of experience in software development for robotic systems, with at least 3 years in regulated product development or the medical device industry.

Proven experience in developing software for robotic systems that includes imaging and real-time AI/ML models for computer vision.

Strong skills in C/C++ and Python.

Expertise in AI/ML and computer vision libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, TensorRT and OpenCV.

Experience with ROS2/ROS.

Proficiency in software version control systems like Git.

Familiarity with CUDA programming.

Experience with real-time Linux systems.
-
Experience in developing autonomous systems is a bonus.

Knowledge of FPGA for AI/ML model implementation is a plus.
Salary: Circa. $200k
