Our client, a leading innovator in the BioTech sector, is hiring an ITOM/PPM Developer to join their team on a contract basis in Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, enhancing user experiences and implementing solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • As the ITOM/PPM Developer, you will create and refine processes within ServiceNow to improve usability and enhance user experiences.

  • You will be responsible to implement and oversee changes to ensure smooth and seamless transitions.

  • Design, develop and document implementation plans, along with technical documentation, for review and approval.

  • Troubleshoot issues, manage support tickets, and resolve bugs for clients and end-users.

  • Develop and customize core applications on the ServiceNow platform, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request and Service Catalog.

  • Assist in the implementation of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure successful adoption of HAM/SAM lifecycle processes.

  • Oversee software asset “end of life” processes and manage software licensing reconciliation.

  • Develop and customize core ITBM applications, including Ideation, Demand, PPM, Resource Management, Timecard Management and Agile.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.

  • Over 5 years of experience working with ServiceNow, including the configuration of an ITSM service catalog.

  • At least 3 years of experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping, ideally within a containerized application environment using Docker and/or Kubernetes.

  • Proven experience in developing and customizing core ITBM applications, such as Ideation, Demand, PPM, Resource Management, Timecard Management, and Agile.

  • ServiceNow Administrator Fundamentals certification is an advantage.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Previous experience working in Healthcare is a bonus.
