Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Dublin or Cork (hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Contract: 3-Month (High Chance of Extension)
Day Rate: €400-500 p/d

Our Global Consulting client are looking to hire an experienced Network Engineer for a 3-month day rate contract for a Dublin & Cork based customer. This role focuses on the deployment, management, and optimization of network infrastructure, leveraging Aruba, ClearPass, and Azure technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Aruba network solutions, including wireless LANs, switches, and mobility controllers. Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of the network.

• Configure and maintain Aruba ClearPass for network access control (NAC), including authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services. Implement security policies and ensure compliance across the network.

• Manage and optimize Azure networking components, including virtual networks, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and network security groups (NSGs). Integrate on-premises and cloud network environments for seamless connectivity.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations. Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex network challenges.

• Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues, ensuring the network's high availability and performance.

Skillset:

• Proven experience with Aruba networking technologies, including wireless LAN, switches, and mobility controllers.

• Strong expertise in Aruba ClearPass, including the configuration of NAC policies and AAA services.

• Experience with Azure networking, including virtual networks, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and network security.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

• Relevant certifications, such as Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer, are highly desirable.
