Our client, a Fortune 500 company in the IT Consulting industry, is hiring a ServiceNow Admin to join their team in Quebec on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of the ServiceNow platform with your expertise becoming essential in troubleshooting and resolving platform issues, ensuring seamless operations and driving continuous improvements.
Responsibilities:

As the ServiceNow admin, you will oversee the daily management of the ServiceNow platform, including troubleshooting, resolving issues and coordinating with internal and external resources for complex problems.

Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to configure and enhance platform capabilities according to best practices.

Stay informed about the latest ServiceNow best practices and apply them to optimize platform performance.

Lead all aspects of release planning, governance, risk assessment, milestone management, prioritization, status reporting and change implementation.

Implement, maintain, validate, integrate and support the ServiceNow environment, ensuring it meets reliability and security standards.

Oversee all instances of the ServiceNow platform—Development, Test, and Production.

Manage a broad range of functions, including Discovery, CMDB, Change Management, Asset Management (HAM and SAM), Incident Management, Service Catalog, Service Portal and more.
Skillset
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.

Proven expertise in administering and managing ServiceNow platforms, with a deep understanding of core modules and functionalities.

Proficiency in ServiceNow development and administration, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), integration, and platform configuration.

Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist) preferred.

Strong troubleshooting skills with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues efficiently.

Experience in leading release planning, governance, and risk assessment with excellent milestone management and prioritization skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
