Our client, an Elite ServiceNow Partner, are hiring a ServiceNow Application Developer to join the team in Allentown, PA on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s ServiceNow platform to effectively execute, manage and sustain critical business functions.

Responsibilities

  • As a ServiceNow Application Developer, you will provide both functional and technical support for the ServiceNow platform to ensure peak performance.

  • Manage daily operational and maintenance tasks, addressing and resolving defects, bugs and errors as they arise.

  • Conduct business analysis and gather requirements for platform enhancements, executing both planned and urgent updates within tight deadlines.

  • Handle standard platform administration duties, including managing users, groups and roles, conducting system access audits and maintaining documentation.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of various ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, Security Operations, Strategic Portfolio Management, ITOM and IT Asset Management.

  • Facilitate integration of the ServiceNow platform with third-party systems from vendors.

Skillset

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.

  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.

  • Relevant ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified Application Developer (CAD).

  • Certifications in ITIL or project management methodologies, including Agile or Scrum.

  • Proficiency in managing the ServiceNow platform, including tasks such as auditing and update set migration.

  • Expertise in developing and maintaining ServiceNow modules, designing workflows and forms, and managing CMDB data.

  • Experience with integrating ServiceNow with various third-party systems.

  • Knowledge of web development technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for iterative development and deployment is an advantage.
