Contract
Our client, an Elite ServiceNow Partner, are hiring a ServiceNow Application Developer to join the team in Allentown, PA on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s ServiceNow platform to effectively execute, manage and sustain critical business functions.
Responsibilities

As a ServiceNow Application Developer, you will provide both functional and technical support for the ServiceNow platform to ensure peak performance.

Manage daily operational and maintenance tasks, addressing and resolving defects, bugs and errors as they arise.

Conduct business analysis and gather requirements for platform enhancements, executing both planned and urgent updates within tight deadlines.

Handle standard platform administration duties, including managing users, groups and roles, conducting system access audits and maintaining documentation.

Assist in the development and maintenance of various ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, Security Operations, Strategic Portfolio Management, ITOM and IT Asset Management.

Facilitate integration of the ServiceNow platform with third-party systems from vendors.
Skillset
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.

Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.

Relevant ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Certifications in ITIL or project management methodologies, including Agile or Scrum.

Proficiency in managing the ServiceNow platform, including tasks such as auditing and update set migration.

Expertise in developing and maintaining ServiceNow modules, designing workflows and forms, and managing CMDB data.

Experience with integrating ServiceNow with various third-party systems.

Knowledge of web development technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for iterative development and deployment is an advantage.
